Apply to join the STEM Leadership Academy Scholars program. Benefits include:
Exclusive pre-orientation program before your first year begins.
$500 per year to help with textbook purchases and other expenses.
Accelerated coop program - requiring no extra costs or semesters!
Monthly group lunches featuring leadership trainings and networking.
Engagement in various STEM opportunities, including job shadowing, paid research experiences, paid internships, and peer mentoring.

How do I qualify?
Incoming Acadia University first-year student in Fall 2024
Intent to major in one of the following: biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, earth & environmental science, mathematics & statistics, nutrition & dietetics, physics, psychology
Identify as one of the following: Mi’kmaq or Indigenous, African Nova Scotia, African, Black and Caribbean ancestry
A willingness to contribute to our community of scholars
How do I apply?
Submit an application by the July 15 deadline.
